Meet the Owners of Brightscape
Todd and Don met at CSU as college roommates. After graduating, they went their separate ways starting their families and building their own careers, but stayed in touch. Years later, they reunited—bringing their experience together to create what BrightScape is today.
Todd - Owner/Operator
Todd brings decades of hands-on experience and dedication to every project. He founded Brightscape in 1995 in Loveland, Colorado, after graduating from CSU. In 1999, he relocated with his family to Bend, Oregon, where he continued to grow Brightscape and expand both his expertise and client base.
In 2017, Todd returned to Fort Collins, Colorado and reestablished Brightscape. Todd takes pride in delivering high-quality results and building lasting relationships with his clients through hard work, honesty, and attention to detail.
Don - Owner/Operator
Don brings a wealth of experience from many years working as a project manager for home builders across the country. His background includes overseeing a wide range of projects, giving him a strong foundation in planning, problem-solving, and delivering high-quality results.With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, Don plays a key role in ensuring each project is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Don is proud to be part of a team that values hard work, integrity, and creating outdoor spaces that clients can truly enjoy.
Adam - Business Development Manger
Adam is originally from Ohio and began his career as a PGA Professional and Head Golf Pro, where he honed skills in precision, leadership, and delivering exceptional experiences for clients and members. After meeting his wife, Kennedy (Todd’s daughter), they moved to Northern Colorado in 2022. Now, Adam brings the same golf principles to his work as the Business Development Manager for Brightscape.
Adam loves helping clients bring their outdoor space ideas and dreams to life—whether it’s a complete transformation or a small upgrade, his goal is to make the process seamless, creative, and tailored to their vision. Combining attention to detail with a passion for design and quality craftsmanship, he works to ensure every project not only looks great but stands the test of time.
